Lake home security camera system
A UniFi security camera system with PTZ, dome, turret and dual-lens cameras, plus outdoor UniFi Wi-Fi access points covering the house, yard and lakefront.
Lake home · West Michigan · Security Cameras
The job
This lake home needed clear views of the yard, the lakeside lawn and the garage, plus dependable Wi-Fi outside the house. Our team planned each camera view on site.
A pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera under the gable can pan and zoom across the lawn toward the water, dome cameras tucked under the soffits watch the lake side of the house, a turret camera on a mounting block covers the side of the home, and a dual-lens camera above the garage watches two directions from a single mount. The cameras on the cedar shingles sit on white mounting blocks that match the trim.
For the Wi-Fi & Networking side of the job, we mounted outdoor UniFi access points under the eaves so the deck, the yard and the lakefront have strong coverage. Every camera and access point runs on a single cable for both data and power, and the whole system can be viewed from a phone.
