Pole barn shop Wi-Fi

A ceiling-mounted access point bringing full-strength Wi-Fi to a large metal pole barn.

Pole barn shop · West Michigan · Wi-Fi

The job

Metal siding and roofing block most Wi-Fi signal from outside the building. We installed a dedicated access point inside the barn on a drop mount, lowered from the ceiling for even coverage across the floor, and fed it with a single run of outdoor-rated Cat6A cable that carries both data and power.

What went in

• UniFi U7 Pro Outdoor access point
• Drop-pole ceiling mount
• Outdoor-rated Cat6A with Power over Ethernet
