The job
This large ranch property needed its network carried to several buildings far across the land, and trenching cable over those long distances was not practical. Our team built a point-to-multipoint wireless network on Ubiquiti UISP gear: Wave AP Gen2 access points on a central mast send the signal out, and a Wave Nano receiver on each building picks it up and connects that building to the network. We aimed and tested every link, added Ethernet surge protection on the outdoor runs, and set up a UISP Console so the whole system can be monitored and managed from one place.
